New to tenkara? We can get you set up.

The White Mountains area has some of the best wild trout fishing in all of New England.

The Tenkara Camp Out is a grassroots event with great people who love the outdoors and tenkara.

Friday

Campers check in at Barnes: 2 pm to 4 pm to receive sites and welcome packs at Barnes Field (shirts, stickers, schedules, maps, etc)

5 pm: Big Day Brewing check in

Big Day Brewing Social Happy Hour. Buy your own Food from the brewery (burgers etc.)

6:15pm: Camp Out Intros and General Information (Bill and team)

6:30pm: Oni Style Tenkara - Rob Worthing

7:00pm: Steve Angers from North Country Angler presents on local waters

7:30pm: Tenkara Minimalism - Dennis Vander Houwen

8:00pm: Raffles lineup and close

This Event Will Sell Out Fast

 

Notice: The campground can get a little loud at times. This is our once-a-year event where we all can get together to celebrate and catch up. If you prefer more quiet, we recomend you buy a ticket without a campsite and book one at Dolly Copp or other lodging close by.
