JOIN US AS WE CELEBRATE TENKARA IN THE WHITE MOUNTAINS NATIONAL FOREST
Love camping and fishing? Then you’re one of us! Come be a part of a fun filled weekend of camping and all things tenkara fly fishing. The White Mountains area has some of the best wild trout fishing in all of New England.
The Tenkara Camp Out is a grassroots event with great people who love the outdoors and of course tenkara.
Camp Out Schedule (subject to change)
Friday
2pm – 6pm: check in at Barnes Field Campground
Give out welcome packs at Barnes Field (shirts, wristbands, stickers, schedules, maps, etc)
6pm: Big Day Brewing Social Hour (drinks and food)
7pm: Camp Out Welcome and General information (Bill Holleran)
7:10pm: Luong Tam from Tenkara Tanuki presentation
7:50pm: Steve Angers from North Country Angler presentation on local waters
8:20pm: Tenkara as Therapy by Tony Parmenter (Seiyu) and Dan Pierce (Maine Tenkara Guide)
8:40pm: Free Raffles
