Location: Barnes Field Campground - Gorham, NH
JOIN US AS WE CELEBRATE TENKARA IN THE WHITE MOUNTAINS NATIONAL FOREST
Love camping and fishing? Then you’re one of us! Come be a part of a fun filled weekend of camping and all things tenkara fly fishing. The White Mountains area has some of the best wild trout fishing in all of New England.
The Tenkara Camp Out is a grassroots event with great people who love the outdoors and of course tenkara.
2024 Schedule (subject to change)
FRIDAY
2pm to 5pm: Campers check-in at Barnes Field Gorham, NH. If you’re running late, you can check-in at Big Day Brewing.
5pm: Big Day Brewing Social Time and late check ins.
5:30pm: Camp Out Intros and General information by Bill Holleran (Red Brook Tenkara)
6:00pm: Presentation by Luong Tam from Tenkara Tanuki
6:30pm: Steve Angers from North Country Angler presentation on local waters
7:00pm: Tony and Dan presentation on Seiyu Institute (tenkara as therapy)
7:30pm: Free Raffles and closing.
SATURDAY
Breakfast on your own
Fishing in small groups, all day or come back to camp for activities. Friday is a great time to meet fellow anglers to fish with. Volunteers will be available to coordinate groups and locations.
Time TBD: Tenkara Instruction Stations on Lawn (Friday we will survey group to see what people would like help with)
Lunch on your own.
Time TBD: Fly tying at camp plus more raffles

Time TBD: Group Cookout. Food provided by event and prepared by Nate Camp and team.
